We are your local one-stop-shop for your fireplace and heating needs. We have 1 shop that is centrally located in Ulverstone ready to service the whole North-West Coast and in some cases further abroad. Central Coast Heating is owned and operated from Ulverstone, and not associated with other heating shops across North-West Tasmania.

We strive to offer a range of quality products to suit every home and budget, backed by sound knowledge. Peter Pring established his company in 1988 and still in business with lots of experience to help assist your heating requirements. We are able to provide you with local knowledge that will suit your needs and the style of your home.

At Central Coast Heating we aim to provide you with different options and ideas to fill your house with the ambience that only a flame can bring. We have a showroom full of different types and styles of heaters to suit the modern through to the traditional so the heater you can select from will be able to suit your décor and make your house feel more homely. So no matter what kind of flame heating you are looking at, if it is a wood heater, a pellet heater, a gas heater or an electric fire come in and talk to our friendly staff.

What Areas Do We Service? 

We look after all the Central Coast, Ulverstone, Penguin, Burnie, Devonport, Shearwater, and anywhere on the whole North-West Coast of Tasmania, right from our central Ulverstone showroom. So no matter where you are we will be able to assist you, even on the West Coast and Circular Head. So before you purchase your next heater, make sure you give us a call or come on in to check out our range. 

What brands do we sell and where do they come from?

This question has been one that has been asked more and more especially this year. Here at Central Coast Heating, we proudly represent Australian businesses and manufacturing wherever possible. Unfortunately, with increasing regulations there are no longer Tasmanian made heaters available on the market, but there are still plenty of Australian made options.  We have many Australian made brands of wood and gas fires as well as heaters from New Zealand, Europe, North America and China.

  • Shamic Sheetmetal: Manufacturers of Coonara, Heat Charm and Arrow wood heaters, made in outer suburbs of Melbourne using Australia Steel and Australian workers, Shamic Sheetmetal have been established over 35 years.
  • Lopi: North American made, high quality heavy wood heaters which are perfect for Tasmanian homes. These heaters are built tough with thick firebricks to hold the heat and radiant cooktops for when the power goes off. Lopi also has a great range of inbuilt and freestanding gas log fires. A size for everyone with a great looking flame.
  • Aranbe Heat: Manufacturers of Australian made wood heaters supporting Australian workers and using Australian steel. Aranbe Heat is an Australian family owned and operated business with over 25 years' experience in the wood heating industry. 
  • Euro Fireplaces: Australian owned company importing highly efficient, clean burning European wood and pellet heaters.
  • Masport: Manufactured in Australia (used to be New Zealand) and is a very well-known brand making a good range of wood freestanding heaters 


We have a warm and inviting showroom, with hot running displays of wood, gas, pellet, and electric fires for you to experience.
